What is a japamala?

A japamala is a beaded necklace used for meditation and spiritual practice. It is traditionally made up of 108 beads, in addition to a master bead.

Why are Nunzi Gioielli's Japamalas different from traditional ones?

They are different because they all contain intertwines and details that differ from common Japamalas. They contain 108 beads, but every 27 stones, or 54 stones, there is a detail that makes counting easier or simply highlights the piece. Our brand is Brazilian, and we had to adapt to the feminine desires of our culture, which makes our product completely different from other brands. In the same way as to finish the piece, we often do not use the Tassel, but rather a completely original stone center. In this way, our Japamalas are suitable for those who want to meditate, as well as for those who appreciate stones or even those who simply like them as an adornment.
